Historic Highfield Hall, A Falmouth Gem

Historic Highfield Hall has announced its 2012 season, which opens on Sunday, April 1, 2012.  This marvelously restored property of the Beebe family, is a true community resource, offering concerts, lectures, classes, outdoor programs, and exhibitions for children, families, and adults. It also serves as a spectacular venue for wedding, corporate, and private events.

Among the offerings for 2012 are a contemporay art quilt display and workshop, gardening programs, Beebe estate walks, cooking classes, Bluegrass on the Lawn, and the always popular Holidays at Highfield.   Program organizers at Highfield are emphasizing multi-generational events this year, so there's sure to be something for the whole family.

If you're planning a visit to Falmouth, be sure to include Historic Highfield Hall, just minutes away from the Captain Tom Lawrence House Inn, on your list of things to see.  See their website at www.highfieldhall.org for more information about the unique history of this non-profit community organization and its programs and events.
