Batter Up!

As any true baseball fan knows, many of the game's best players (including some of our favorite Red Sox) got their start in the Cape Cod Baseball League.  Jacoby Ellsbury, Nomar, Mark Teixeira, Jason Varitek, and Evan Longoria, to name a few, played  on one of the League's 10 teams during their college years.  The League is recognized by professional baseball scouts and college coaches as the nation's premier amateur league and the top college players in the country are recruited each year.
Opening Day ceremonies will kick off the League's 128th season on Thursday, June 14.  There are plenty of opportunities to see some first-rate ball with teams located in Bourne, Brewster, Chatham, Cotuit, Falmouth, Harwich, Hyannis, Orleans, Wareham, and Yarmouth-Dennis.  Our own Falmouth Commodores play at Guv Fuller Field on Main Street in Falmouth. Go Commodores!
