Live Theater in Falmouth

There are several opportunities to take in a live theater performance in Falmouth and Woods Hole.

Just as the Cape Cod Baseball League hosts the best college baseball players in the country, the College Light Opera Company is the summer home to college students from across the country.  CLOC gives actors, musicians, stage and costume technicians the opportunity to experience a professional theater company.  Now in its 45th season, this year's repertoire offers nine musicals and operettas, including No, No Nanette, My One and Only, Die Fledermaus, and Fiddler on the Roof.

If new American plays are to your liking, check out the Cape Cod Theater Project. This innovative forum brings together writers of new plays with professional actors and directors for readings in the intimate setting of Falmouth Academy.  The audience is welcome to participate in post-performance discussion.

Down the road in Woods Hole is the Woods Hole Theater Company. Since 1974, this year-round group has been offering a variety of plays for the community.  Its home is the Woods Hole Community Hall of 1878.
