Enjoy "the craic" in Falmouth on St. Patrick's Day
"The craic" is a traditional term in Ireland meaning fun, entertainment, and good conversation. For 2014, Falmouth will be a great place for the craic around St. Patrick's Day. The entire village is getting into it, with decorations, events, and Irish-themed specials. Many of the restaurants and pubs will offer Irish specialties and there's plenty of live music to be found. The festivities begin at Liam Maguire's Irish Pub on Friday and there will be live music throughout the weekend and all day on St. Patrick's Day. Among the great acts and bands on tap for the big day are Danny Quinn, a singer-songwriter who has been doing Irish and American folk music for nearly three decades;and Liam, himself. It's sure to be a grand time!
