Daffodil Season in Falmouth

Our unusually long and cold winter has finally given way to more spring-like conditions in Falmouth.  Daffodils are in full bloom, just in time for the annual Spohr Gardens Daffodil Days which takes place on Saturday, April 19 and 26.  From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. you can tour the Gardens, which boast of thousands of daffodils of every variety. There will also be sales of plants, gardening books, and accessories as well as special activities for children.  At 3 p.m. on April 19, there will be traditional music by the Falmouth Fiddlers. Admission is free but donations are gratefully accepted.  The Gardens are operated and funded entirely by volunteers and the Friends of Spohr Gardens.
Next up at Spohr Gardens are the azaleas, rhododendrons, and, eventually, day lilies.
