Arts Are Alive in Falmouth

From June 20 - 22, 2014, be sure to set aside some time to head to Main Street in Falmouth for the 2014 Arts Alive, a celebration of music, dance, theater, crafts, and art.  The festivities kick-off on Friday evening from 5 to 9 p.m.  Hours on Saturday are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and  Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.  The area around Falmouth Library is the hub - with performances under tents on the library lawn and craftspeople displaying their work on Shore Street Extension.

Highlights include a Town Dance on Friday evening, with swing dance music by the Charlie Jamieson Trio. Saturday's featured activity is a Rock Fest from 5 to 8 p.m. Nearly 50 artisans will be offering pottery, photographs, jewelry, beadwork, and all manner of handcrafted items.  It's also an opportunity for local non-profits to spread their message and showcase the good works they do in the community.

All activities are free and open to all and the party is on, rain or shine.
